DAVE POPP (6AM - 10AM) Dave Popp started his radio career playing polka music and reading obituaries in the Metropolis of New Prague, Minnesota. Since then you may have heard him somewhere as he has been town to town, up and down the dial. He is now thrilled to be playing rock songs and telling fart jokes. He is from parts unknown. Favorite bands include, but are not limited to...G'n'R, Van Halen, Tom Petty, Beatles, Stones, Megadeth, AC/DC, Ozzy, and whatever else doesn't suck. Favorite shows include....Seinfeld, Sopranos, Southpark, Smallville, and Jail. Favorite books include... The Art of War, Everybody Poops, and anything with a lot of pictures. EMJAY (10AM - 2PM)EmJay began her career in Omaha at Classic rocker, KKCD while she earned a broadcast journalism degree. EmJay then became News Director on Heritage rock KEZO, Z-92's Morning Show. EmJay then hosted her own morning-show on KSRZ/Omaha in the late 90's. EmJay can be heard many national ads and has earned several broadcast awards for Public Service announcements. However, the attention and awareness of local non-profit organizations that are of service to children is ultimately her most important goal. EmJay hosts middays on the Q. |
CARL MANN(2PM-7PM)Carl Mann (2pm - 7pm) Carl's radio career began in the 60s and reached a goal of working at Top 40 KOMA in Oklahoma City by 1969. In the early 70s he moved on to Omaha for mornings and middays at legendary KOIL, where he was also Music Director for several years. Then it was on to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for a lengthy stay as Program Director for KCRG, and later for KQCR FM. That was followed by a return to Omaha as Operations Manager for his old station KOIL, while helping launch a sister FM station, KXKT. He retired from radio for several years working the assignment desk in a TV newsroom, then joined Q102 in 2006. |
CHRIS REEVES (7PM-12AM)Chris began his career at WAPL in Appleton, Wisconsin prior to moving to Colorado to become Assistant PD at KSKE. Chris joined Radio One Networks in Vail, working six years on various Rock and Country formats. In 2001, Chris was Program Director for WHBY, prior to joining Q102 in January 2002. |
JP CRUISE (12AM - 5AM)PJ began her career in Omaha where she spent five years at KEZO, Z-92 as the mid-day personality and web-master. PJ also owns her own Mobile DJ service doing various events. PJ spent time in San Antonio and Houston, prior to joining Q102. |
